The most surprising showbiz story of the week, so far, tells us that FX has signed the one and only Lady Gaga to star in the upcoming fifth season of their popular American Horror Story series.
On Wednesday night, FX premiered the fourth season of its popular anthology series American Horror Story. This time around (as the same cast is used to tell an entirely new story each season), the show is set in 1950s Florida, within one of America’s last carnival freak shows.
Early this year, the news hit that Louis CK and Zach Galifianakis were developing a TV show for FX. Fans of the pair of zaftig, hirsute funnymen rejoiced at the possibility.

As is being reported by AV Clubhere, American Horror Story writer, Douglas Petrie, has confirmed that the next season of the popular FX drama will be set in a carnival.
