Mothers, we don’t mind saying, are the best. So, “Hallmark holiday,” or not, we unreservedly love Mother’s Day; and we want to wish all the mothers out there the very happiest of days (and have a great year, while you’re at it, moms).
Today, March 17th, is Saint Patrick’s Day; a day that specifically celebrates the life of the foremost patron saint, and more generally the culture and people, of the great nation of Ireland.
For the love of all that’s good in the world, it feels like we were just here. And, due to the celestial whim of the forces of bad luck, this year we were.
Winter is now well underway and February is very nearly halfway through. Heart-shaped boxes, Kewpie dolls, and bonbons are beginning to dot store shelves, and talk of love is in the air.
While we here at PeekYou are preparing to leave 2014 behind and eagerly welcome in 2015, we wanted to take a moment to wish all of you — as well as your families and loved ones — a peaceful, happy, and healthy new year.
Today is Boxing Day. Problem is, here in the States — where PeekYou resides — that doesn’t mean a whole heck of a lot. So, not knowing quite how to mark the occasion, we bring you “the greatest of all-time,” Mr. Muhammad Ali. Whatever Boxing Day is, we hope you make the most of yours, as we’re sure Mr. Ali will do.
While fashion is, literally by definition and surely by nature, always “hot,” with the holidays upon us, we are in a retail frame of mind more so than normal, with visions of labels dancing in the heads of the style conscious.
