On Thursday night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy (PeekYou profile here) was joined by one of Long Island’s proudest sons, “piano man” Billy Joel (PeekYou profile here).

With help from a looping app, and seemingly at least a little bit of a pre-show rehearsal (although we could be mistaken about that), Jimmy and Billy serenaded Thursday’s TV audience — and subsequently today’s cyberspace one — with an a cappella reading of the (long and storied) doo-wop standard, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.”
