Taylor Swift Joins Jimmy Fallon for ‘Ew!’

Jimmy Fallon‘s recurring “Ew!” bit, in which he plays a perpetually disgusted, brace-faced adolescent girl may not be our favorite aspect of his Tonight Show, but this past Wednesday’s iteration of the one-joke sketch did provide a pleasant surprise.

Joining Jimmy this time out, in the routine’s fictional finished basement, was superstar pop singer Taylor Swift, playing sheepish “Natalie” to Fallon’s brash and shrieking “Sara.” Even through the general screaming and repetition of the sketch, it would be difficult to describe Swift’s turn as anything other than endearing and oddly plausible.
