Hard Science is the name of a new online show hosted by Anthony Carboni (PeekYou profile here), of Discovery’s DNews, and Tara Long (PeekYou profile here) of Rev3Games; with the stated intention of taking “science out of the lab and onto the playground.”

The folks behind the popular YouTube channel, AsapSCIENCE have made the above video to explain in simple, scientific terms, and with misleadingly charming illustrations, precisely how the stuff can quickly go about destroying a life.
Joe Hanson (PeekYou profile here) may not be one of the Internet’s most prominent scientists, but he may very well be on his way as the host and writer of PBS Digital Studios’ popular YouTube series and blog, It’s Okay to be Smart.
