Dave Grohl reacts to hearing his first ever solo recording, a track called “Gods Look Down” recorded in 1990 at Barrett Jones’ Laundry Room Studio in Seattle, in a outtake from the Foo Fighters‘ Sonic Highways docuseries.
“It was the first song he ever wrote and recorded,” the video notes. “This was also the first of many songs recorded with Barrett at Laundry Room Studio.”
Joe Walsh joined in on a jam in tribute to his musical legacy Thursday night, performing his James Gang single “Funk #49” with a star-studded cast of his famous fans and peers.
