Aquaman Release Date Pushed Back By Warner Bros.
Sorry, DC fans; This one is going to hurt. After speculation that Warner Bros. may push Aquaman’s release date up, fans have just learned the opposite has happened. According to a report by Deadline, the much-anticipated movie will make its way into theaters on October 5, 2018 rather than in July.
Pre-production on Aquaman is already well underway as director James Wan has been sharing possible shooting locations with fans online. Just yesterday, the working title for the film was also made public thanks to Production Weekly. The film, which is being produced under the name ‘Ahab,’ looks like it has plenty left to do before Aquaman swims into cinemas.
Of course, this news many surprise some fans. Many had believed Warner Bros. would move up Aquaman’s release because of recent issues plaguing The Flash. The latter recently lost yet another director after Rick Famuyiwa parted from the project, so fans had hoped Aquaman may move up to take its release date.
Instead, Aquaman is now sitting in a date once left blank by Warner Bros. The date has been on the studio’s release schedule…
