Wednesday night on NBC‘s Late Night with Seth Myers, actress Jennifer Lawrence (PeekYou profile here) relayed a potentially embarrassing anecdote about her experience at the 2014 Academy Awards ceremony.

While only 23, these Oscars marked the third occasion of Jennifer being nominated, and this time around she was convinced to forgo bringing family to the ceremony, and instead attend accompanied by Laura Simpson; her best friend. Simpson proved a bit of a devil on Jennifer’s shoulder, persuading her to spend a little more time at the bar than might have been advisable. By the point in the evening when they arrived at Guy Oseary and Madonna‘s Oscar party, Jennifer was well in her cups.
