So it seems that Brad and Angelina — or, if you prefer the popular portmanteau, Brangelina — have gone and made that thing of theirs official. They are now man and wife.

It was confirmed on Thursday that, this past Saturday, away from the media’s prying glare, the staggeringly attractive philanthropist couple tied the knot. Vows were exchanged in a small chapel at the Chateau Miraval in the Provence hamlet of Correns.

Prior to the civil ceremony, a marriage license was obtained from a local California judge, who also joined the couple in France to officiate the proceedings.

Of course, it was all really a formality, as the two have been exclusive for nearly a decade now, and have six children together.
