Regina Spektor breathes life back into Chicago’s famed, but long-closed Uptown Theater in the new video for “Black and White.”
Directed by Daniel Ryan, the dreamlike clip finds Spektor performing the mid-tempo ballad at a piano situated in the ornate lobby of the Theater. Through the doors behind Spektor, a lone dancer begins moving across the Uptown stage, makes her way up the empty aisles and wanders around the building before spotting Spektor.
