Google searches are high today for Valerie Harper; an actress best known for having played the character Rhoda Morgenstern on the beloved sitcoms The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rhoda.

She has just ended a very impressive run on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. Earlier this year Valerie was diagnosed with brain cancer, but rose to the occasion of the dance competition with an eye on inspiring others. Alas, as People reports here, “sentiment finally yielded to the cold criteria of judging” this past Monday, and Valerie was voted off the program after a moving four week run.
