Kate Hansen (PeekYou profile here), the American Olympic luger who recently gained attention for the video of her joyously preparing for a run by dancing to Beyoncé, is trending today for a considerably more nerve-wracking video, shot in her Sochi hotel.

Much has been written already about the over 1,000 stray dogs roaming the streets of Sochi, but the fella who Kate found wandering the hallways of her hotel — as she captured in the video below — appears to be something other than just a wayward mutt. Indeed, it looks a great deal like a wolf. Because of this, the internet’s been going gaga for the clip.

Alas, Mark Jones, a veterinarian and executive director of the Humane Society UK, as mentioned here by NBC Washington, has identified the animal not as a wolf, but as a husky. But honestly, where’s the fun in that?
