Tony Romo: Denver Broncos in ‘driver’s seat’ for Dallas Cowboys QB

Feb. 28 (UPI) — The Denver Broncos were allegedly only interested in quarterback Tony Romo if he became a free agent.

With that possibility reportedly happening in the next two weeks, the franchise is now in the “driver’s seat” to acquire the Dallas Cowboys gunslinger, according to NFL.com.

“At this point, just judging from the teams available, given Clark Hunt’s comments to the Kansas City Star, that Alex Smith is going to be the Chiefs quarterback for 2017…it seems the Broncos are clearly in the driver’s seat in the potential free agent Tony Romo sweepstakes, if he is willing to take…
