This Animated Hobbit/Mean Girls Mashup is Going Viral
Only Leigh is the name of a YouTube channel created and maintained by a New York born, Israel based animator (whose PeekYou profile you can visit here). Its videos — alternately celebrating and having fun at the expense of its creator’s myriad pop culture fixations — routinely rack up views in the six figures, and the page itself has over 40,000 subscribers.
In the video above, Leigh mashes up 2004’s Mean Girls, with the current The Hobbit franchise. As the video is, as of this writing, one of the top videos on YouTube, with over 800k views in just six days, it would seem that some folks are feeling it.
