‘The Voice’s’ Adam Levine Receives a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
It was a Friday morning — not Sunday morning — but rain was falling on Hollywood Boulevard, where fans gathered despite the gloominess to support singer-songwriter Adam Levine as he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Levine is best known as the frontman of Grammy-winning band Maroon 5, which has racked up three No. 1 hits (“Moves Like Jagger,” “One More Night” and “Makes Me Wonder”) on the Billboard Hot 100. Beyond his musical success with his band and as a solo artist, Levine branched into film and television, serving as a judge on NBC’s The Voice and starring in roles on American Horror Story and in the 2013 film Begin Again.
Levine’s star ceremony was just as prestigious as his career, with guest speakers Sammy Hagar, formerly of Van Halen, and country superstar Blake Shelton, whose girlfriend and fellow Voice coach, Gwen Stefani, accompanied him to the event.
