The first official trailer for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles flick, from producer Michael Bay (PeekYou profile here) has hit the Web; and the Web, as the Web will do, has noticed (with a segment hitting back).

The Megan Fox (PeekYou profile here) starring flick marks the fifth-time the enduring “heroes in a half-shell” have appeared on the big screen, since their first appearance in self-published comic books almost exactly 30-years ago.

The trailer looks loud, confusing, and expensive; just as you might expect from a Bay production. A cursory skim of what the Web’s more vocal denizens have to share suggests that opinion is divided, as it so often is these days.
