The 87th Academy Awards ceremony is upon us on February 22.

Much as Hollywood is paying tribute to itself with this gala — bound to be, as always, lavish and excessive — we’re paying tribute to ourselves with this equally fancy blog entry piggybacking on the hype surrounding this event. Here — while it may look like a list of beloved celebrities — we’re celebrating our PeekScore scale! Darned fine thing it is, too.

The below list is focusing not on the honored films, or performers, but instead on the Oscar ceremony itself. We’re looking at and comparing the hosts of the last 20, or so, Oscar ceremonies; including the host of February 22nd’s event; he, a veteran of awards show hosting, but a first time host of the Oscars.
