The Nominees of the 87th Academy Awards (UPDATED)

87th Academy Awards
Among the many things a winter brings (holidays, Super Bowls, tenacious flus, shoveling, Golden Globes, and such and such), little is a source of more brouhaha and hubbub than the Academy Awards.

(UPDATE: With the ceremony completed, winners are now indicated below.)

That’s the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards, in case you’re not clear. Big prizes for the movies! Hollywood’s biggest night.

This year marks the 87th that Hollywood is throwing this lavish shindig in its own honor, and the nominees to possibly be receiving the statues they’ll be handing out during it were announced some months ago.

Here we’re providing a simple list of all the acting and directing nominees, each linked to his or her PeekYou profile; from where you’ll be led to home pages, fan pages, social pages, writings, articles, videos, photos, interviews, and all the awesome kinds of things a PeekYou profile may share regarding a life and career.
