While bonkers in a fairly contrived way, clearly devised for maximum virality, the video promoting EA Sports’ Madden NFL 15 (the latest installment of their ancient, ongoing, NFL based video game franchise) is all the same a deeply entertaining watch.

Starring comedian Kevin Hart and actor David Franco, the clip portrays a non-sequitur laden gauntlet-toss on the part of Hart, which precipitates an epic gaming battle. Oh, and it’s a rap song also.

It’s #MaddenSeason, basically.
