The names on this fairly surprising list speak loudly and clearly to nothing so much as the truly international nature of the Web. Fewer than half the names on the list are Americans, and four play a sport which — while the most popular sport in the world by a healthy margin — is quite famously all but ignored in the states (except during World Cup time, of course).
