Hey y’all! Feel like you’ve been listening to the same few songs over and over? It’s the worst. We’ve put together a few ways to find music so give them a whirl and hopefully you’ll put an end to that dry spell of new music.
1. Stream Services’ discover playlists and related artists sections.
Both Spotify and Apple music curate playlists based on your play history and in my personal experience, it’s led me to discover some pretty great music. Also, every artist on these stream services has related artists linked to their profile, so if you’re looking for a similar but new sound, you should definitely check them out. It feels invasive that we’re constantly under surveillance of algorithms and what have you, but it’s part of the deal so why not make claim to all its rewards?
