LONDON (AP) — South Korea forward Son Heung-min scored two goals and was involved in two others as Tottenham thrashed Watford 4-0 in the Premier League on Saturday, earning an 11th straight home win that kept the pressure on first-placed Chelsea. More
The game did not turn when the Thunder entertainment crew trotted out three contestants for a closest-to-the-pin putting contest, with a Thunder-themed golf cart as the prize, only to discover that no one had brought a golf ball. More
Chelsea took care of business in Week 27 of the 2016-17 Premier League season, beating West Ham United 2-1 on Monday to move their lead back to 10 points.
Eden Hazard and Diego Costa provided the goals for the Blues, while Manuel Lanzini’s strike came too late. More
Having picked virtually a full-strength team against Gent on Thursday night, it seemed reasonable to predict that Spurs’ manager would make a number of changes at Craven Cottage today, freshening up his side while taking the opportunity to have another look at some of his reserve players with a view to the summer transfer window. LONDON (AP) — Antonio Conte waited more than four months for revenge against Arsenal. With a 3-1 victory over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, the wait was worth it for the Italian manager as Chelsea remained nine points clear at the top of the Premier League. More

LONDON (AP) — After a difficult introduction to English Premier League management, Bob Bradley’s wait for a win is over.
Swansea’s players couldn’t achieve it the easy way for their trail-blazing American coach.
In the sixth game of his reign on Saturday, Swansea tossed away a 3-1 lead against Crystal Palace to head into stoppage time trailing 4-3.
Displaying the fighting spirit Swansea has lacked this season, Fernando Llorente found time to score twice and complete a wild 5-4 victory that lifted the south Wales club off the bottom of the standings.
“It’s a crazy match, and it’s very important for us,” Llorente said. “We need confidence and this match will help us a lot.”
It shouldn’t have been so tough. After Wilfried Zaha gave Palace an early lead, Gylfi Sigurdsson’s free kick and Leroy Fer’s double gave Swansea a 3-1 advantage. But the game unexpectedly swung back in Palace’s favor when James Tomkins and Christian Benteke scored either side of Jack Cork’s own goal in a nine-minute spell.
But Llorente, dropped from the squad for last weekend’s draw at Everton, presented his case for a starting role in the most dramatic fashion.
“The character of the players came through,” Bradley said. “It’s been a difficult season so far, there have been a lot of things that just didn’t bounce the right way.”
On Saturday they did, but not for Alan Pardew whose Palace side slumped to a sixth successive league and is only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. Swansea climbed off the bottom and is two points from safety.
Boston (AFP) – Kawhi Leonard scored nine points in the final 7:17 as the San Antonio Spurs kept rolling with a spirited 109-103 win over the Boston Celtics that extended three winning streaks.
LaMarcus Aldridge clinched the Spurs come-from-behind victory with an offensive rebound and two free throws with 17 seconds remaining.
“It was a great win for us against the really active team,” Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said.
The Spurs, who trailed by 14 points in the first half, improved to 13-3 on the season in front of a crowd of 18,600 Friday at the Boston Garden arena.
San Antonio rallied for their eighth straight NBA win, their ninth in as many games on the road this season, and also beat Boston for the 10th straight time.
Leonard, who finished with 25 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, scored nine points in the fourth quarter.
Former Celtic Patty Mills tallied a season-best 19 points and rookie Davis Bertans and veteran David Lee added 15 points apiece.
