Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) has been cast as Simba in Disney’s remake of The Lion King, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Elf), who directed The Jungle Book remake last year, will direct the live-action adaptation. James Earl Jones will reprise his role as Mufasa.
