Zia Anger is a filmmaker who has directed music videos for Angel Olsen, Jenny Hval, Maggie Rogers, and others. In 2015, her short film My Last Film premiered at the 53rd New York Film Festival. It stars Lola Kirke (Gone Girl, Mistress America), Kelly Rohrbach, Rosanna Arquette, Michael Cavadias, and Mac DeMarco, who plays God. He has no lines, but he runs someone over with a van.
The film is now available outside of screenings for the first time. It is showing in theaters as part of Memory Presents: Program No. 2.
