A California Woman and her Award Nominated Cat Videos
From Pacific Palisades, California’s Patch.com blog we learn of Chase Holiday, a local woman whose cat videos have found her a semi-finalist in The Friskies, which are awarded annually to the best Internet cat videos of the year. This year’s prizes will be given out on October 15.

Plymouth, MA Woman Forms Dog Rescue Group
From Plymouth, Massachusetts’ Patch.com blog, we learn of a local woman who is nothing short of a hero for some of our four-legged fellow travelers.
Megan Saucier, of Plymouth, and Katie Montgomery of nearby Somerville, have started Survivor Tails, a group dedicated to rescuing and finding homes for dogs who have been scheduled to be euthanized.
Run entirely by volunteers, thus far they’ve already saved 14 dogs. And they’ve only just begun in their efforts.

NJ Hall of Fame to Induct Joetta Clark Diggs
