Pat Benatar teamed up with producer/songwriter Linda Perry on the new protest song “Shine.” Created in support of Saturday’s Women’s March on Washington, “Shine” is Benatar’s first new song in over a decade.

Last night, Carrie Brownstein and Aziz Ansari made appearances on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” During her segment, Brownstein spoke with Fallon about Sleater-Kinney’s forthcoming record Live in Paris, as well as the seventh season of “Portlandia.” She also revealed that she learned sign language as a kid while watching soap operas. Five protesters sued Elvis Presley‘s estate Graceland and the city of Memphis for discrimination after claiming they were prohibited from entering a Presley vigil.
In the federal civil rights lawsuit, members of the Coalition of Concerned Citizens, an offshoot of the Black Lives Movement according to the Associated Press, attempted to stage a protest at Graceland last August 16th during an annual candlelight vigil marking Presley’s date of death. More
