Frank Ocean has shared his thoughts on Donald Trump’s inauguration as 45th president of the United States in a new note, posted to his Tumblr. “I’m really excited for the inauguration crowd numbers to come in,” it reads. “Don’t cook the books either, Donald. We all know your event was dry. No matter how many times CNN anchors repeat ‘majestic or peaceful transition of power.’ The world can see America divided and the chaos in the streets.”
Nine Inch Nails, Frank Ocean, A Tribe Called Quest, Tame Impala and Solange are among the acts slated to headline the 2017 edition of New York’s Panorama Festival.
The second annual event on Randall’s Island Park is set to run July 28-30 and also feature sets from Alt-J, Justice, MGMT, Spoon, Belle & Sebastian, Cashmere Cat and Angel Olsen.

A list of “album contributors” found in Ocean’s “Boys Don’t Cry” magazine credited David Bowie, Kanye West, Jamie xx, Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, the Beatles, Pharrell, Elliott Smith, and many more. In September, the album’s songwriting credits were partially revealed, but some mysteries remained unsolved, including the specifics of Kanye and Beyoncé’s contributions to the album.
A vinyl release for Frank Ocean’s Blonde has been rumored, but unconfirmed, since the record came out in a flurry of Frank activity this August. Back then, the record’s accompanying magazine, Boys Don’t Cry, was made available for lucky fans who stood in line at his shops in New York, Chicago, L.A., and London. (Copies quickly found their way to eBay for hundreds of dollars.)…
