Saturday, June 6, marks the 71st anniversary of D-Day; the day 150,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Nazi-occupied Normandy, France, and turned the tides of World War II irreversibly.
Today (Monday) is Memorial Day, in PeekYou’s homeland of America. On this day of remembrance, we would like to take a moment to honor all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedoms.
In the United States, each third Saturday in May is Armed Forces Day; established in 1950 by President Harry S. Truman to “thank our military members for their patriotic service in support of our country.”
On this Veterans Day, PeekYou would like to take a moment to deeply and sincerely thank all of the brave men and women who have served and defended our country in one of the branches of the U.S. military.
