Stephen Colbert is Hosting the 2017 Emmy Awards
Stephen Colbert will make his first foray into major awards shows when he hosts the 2017 Emmys on Sept. 17. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert host will join a long list of other late-night television hosts, including Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon. It’s a sensible move, given Colbert’s propensity for showmanship. And he’s no stranger to Emmys himself, as his very successful Colbert Report won nine during its nine-year run.
