Machine Gun Kelly and Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello performed their lusty duet “Bad Things” on The Tonight Show on Wednesday. Kelly, wearing all black, rapped hoarse come-ons: “Let me paint the picture/ Couch by the kitchen/ Nothin’ but your heels on/ Losin’ our religion.” Cabello, in a cloud of contrasting white, brought melismatic verve to the single’s head-over-heels hook, as the band mixed hip-hop power, courtesy of a rugged drummer, with ballad drama: a weepy string section and stirring piano.
