Ronda Rousey at UFC 170, and Possibly Beyond

Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey (PeekYou profile here), currently the biggest name in women’s MMA, is trending throughout the Web as we write this.

On Saturday she defends her bantamweight title against Sara McMann (who, like Rousey, is undefeated), in the main event of UFC 170, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Rousey’s name is also receiving much virtual-ink in connection to a possible future fight. Without getting into the all the jock-drama-minutia of weight classes, and belts, and merged leagues, and rumors of performance enhancements, and what-have-you, much of which you can read explained here, the gist is that Cris “Cris Cyborg” Justino (PeekYou profile here) — believed by many to be, pound-for-pound, the best women’s fighter going — has declared her intention to drop down from 145 lbs to 135 lbs so she can fight and “retire” Rousey this December.

It’s a declaration which, we imagine, won’t mean half as much if Rousey doesn’t emerge victorious at UFC 170. But what do we know? For today, folks are buzzing.

You can, as it turns out, know plenty by visiting the PeekYou profiles of Ronda and Cris; where you’ll find links to social pages, websites, tons of videos, photos, MMA-nerd scuttlebutt, and much, much more.
