Phil Everly (PeekYou profile here), one half of the legendary singing duo The Everly Brothers, has passed away at age 74.

Phil is best known for having co-pioneered, along with his brother Don (PeekYou profile here), one of early rock and roll’s most distinctive, and frankly beautiful sounds, with the Everly’s instantly recognizable close harmony singing on hits such as All I Have to Do Is Dream, and Crying in the Rain.
