Early Monday morning, the sad news hit the Internet that Dave Brockie (PeekYou profile here), aka Oderus Urungus, the lead vocalist of the intensely theatrical, and ruthlessly satirical rock band, Gwar, was found dead in his home at age 50.

At the time of this writing not much else is known. You can read more here at the website of the Richmond Times-Dispatch; one of the papers in Brockie’s hometown of Richmond, Virginia.
