Richard Sherman Now the Highest-Paid Cornerback in the NFL

The Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahakws‘ star cornerback, Richard Sherman (PeekYou profile here), has just agreed to a four-year contract extension with the team.

Sherman announced the deal on his Twitter account and blog, on Wednesday. He says the extension is worth $57.4, and guarantees him $40 million. He added, “There is no other city or team that I would want to play football for.”

By the looks of that deal, it seems a reasonable point of view.
