The 2014 American Music Awards: Pop on Parade (UPDATED)

Taylor and Nicki
On Sunday, November 23 — at 8pm ET (and broadcast on ABC) — the 2014 American Music Awards will be taking place (or took place, depending on when you’re reading this).

(UPDATED – 11/24/14: Winners indicated below.)

We’re not so certain that folks are all that concerned with the actual awards themselves, or who wins them. The ceremony, however, featuring pretty much every big name in contemporary popular music as it annually does, is a different matter altogether.

Below is a fairly comprehensive list of the event’s major nominees. Clicking through the highlighted items below will lead you to the corresponding topics’ PeekYou profiles; from where you’ll be led to videos, social pages, articles, photos, personal and fan websites, and much more.

In addition to appearances from the many nominated superstars, the program will also feature hotly anticipated performances from America’s sweetheart Taylor Swift — who will also be receiving some Dick Clark Award for Achievement in the Field of Excellence or Freedom Medal of Valor, or something or other; to be presented by genuine legend Diana Ross — and America’s true sweetheart, Nicki Minaj.

Anyway, here are the nominees.
