Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore’s HBO series “Insecure” is back, and music supervisor Kier Lehman has unveiled a slate of artists contributing original music to its second season. To coincide with the season premiere this past Sunday, Lehman spoke to Vulture about his role in the show, the (successful) struggle to clear NxWorries’ “Scared Money” for use in the first episode, and a lineup of contributing artists that includes Miguel, Bryson Tiller, Jazmine Sullivan, Jorja Smith, Dreezy, and more.
