Scandal star, Kerry Washington (PeekYou profile here), discreetly — away from the media’s intrusive eyes — gave birth to a baby girl on April 21 in Los Angeles, TMZ reported on Friday.

Us Weekly also says here that a source informed them, “Kerry recently had her baby.”

It’s the first child for Washington and husband, former San Francisco 49ers cornerback, Nnamdi Asomugha (PeekYou profile here). Washington’s reps will not comment on her personal life, so facts are scarce (and none of our business, blog of it though we do).

The gossip pages broke the story around late-October of ’13 that Washington and Asomugha were expecting. Kerry finally shared about her pregnancy when she could no longer conceal it during this year’s Golden Globe Awards.
