How John Cleese responds to Trump supporters who walk out of his shows
Actor John Cleese likes to applaud people who take such severe offense to his cracks on President Trump that they decide to leave his shows.
“If I do a Trump joke,” the “Monty Python” star said on Thursday night’s episode of “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “they get up and they walk out to the aisle, and I say, ‘Was it the Trump joke?’ and sometimes they say ‘yes’ and sometimes they go,” Cleese said while imitating an offended patron giving him the finger.
