Hillary Clinton Has Shoe Thrown at Her, Ducks

Hillary
While giving a speech in Las Vegas on Thursday, former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton (PeekYou profile here), had a shoe thrown at her.

The frightening act was committed by a woman, apparently as an act of protest. The shoe-attacker was immediately taken into custody by the Secret Service. She was not a ticketed guest, and somehow managed to slip past security. Neither her name nor her motivations have yet been released.

One time (and possible future) presidential candidate, Clinton quipped, after ducking the shoe, “My goodness, I didn’t know solid waste management was so controversial”; said in reference to the recycling trade group, The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, she was addressing. She added, “Thank goodness she didn’t play softball like I did.”

At this time, Ms. Clinton is considered the overwhelming favorite to receive the Democrat Party’s nomination for president in 2016; but even halfway savvy readers know, there’s a lot that can happen between now and then.
