Happy Bastille Day
July 14th is Bastille Day, the French national day (or French “birthday,” if you will).
The date marks the anniversary of the July 14, 1789 storming of the Bastille Saint-Antoine prison in Paris; the fall of which is regarded as the spark which set off the French Revolution.
