DJ Khaled Talks FOX’s “The Four” & Aspirations Of Executive Producing JAY-Z Album

Los Angeles, CA – During the inaugural Variety Hitmakers Awards in Los Angeles last month, HipHopDX Editor-In-Chief Trent Clark caught up with DJ Khaled who discussed his new FOX television show, The Four.

The Grateful mastermind serves as one of four judges alongside Republic Records’ president Charlie Walk, pop singer Meghan Trainor and legendary Hip Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The show is comparable to American Idol but has a slightly different format. Rather than starting off with thousands of contestants, four finalists will battle it out for industry guidance from the four judges.

“It’s gonna be big,” Khaled said. “It’s ‘The Four,’ a new music competition show. It’s going to be the biggest thing on T.V.”
