Dak Prescott named 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year over Ezekiel Elliott
Dak Prescott, a fourth-round draft choice who started the summer of 2016 as the Cowboys’ third-string quarterback, has been named the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year.
The Mississippi State product stepped into the Dallas starting lineup after Tony Romo suffered a back injury in the preseason, then never relinquished the reins after lifting the Cowboys to an 11-1 start.
