CBS Renews ‘The Big Bang Theory’ for a Whopping Three More Seasons

As has been reported here by Variety, American television’s highest rated sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, has been given a full three-season renewal, by CBS.

Multi-year contracts of this nature are not the norm, of course, and this history making deal speaks volumes regarding the networks’s faith in the Chuck Lorre produced program; which, right now in its 7th season, is logging its highest ratings to date. The show averages 19.79 million viewers, and is especially strong with the extremely desirable “18-49” demographic.
