Cat Saves Little Boy from Dog

Thanks to KERO in Bakersfield, California we’ve discovered this terrific footage of a cat coming to a little boy’s rescue from a dog attack.

What the surveillance video, embedded below, shows is a young boy being attacked in his driveway, by a neighbor’s dog. The boy is shown playing with his bike, when a dog sneaks up behind him and grabs his leg. Then Tara, the family’s cat, rushes the attacking dog and chases it away.

(We know the picture above is a lie. It is great video, we swear, but we wanted something a little more visually exciting to get people to click. WE DO WHAT WE HAVE TO DO AND WE’RE SORRY!)

The clip was originally posted to the YouTube channel of Roger Triantafilo (PeekYou profile is here), the boy’s father. According to the boy’s mother, Erika, the boy needed a few stitches, but is now doing fine. The dog is now under observation.
