Country music superstar and one-time American Idol, Carrie Underwood, took to social media on Monday to announce that she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child.

Employing a pun on the holiday Underwood posted:

Fisher, who plays for the NHL‘s Nashville Predators, confirmed the announcement on Twitter; “We haven’t picked names yet but it’s looking like Fly is gonna fly. #boyorgirl #flyfisher.”

Puns aplenty in that household, we suppose.
