Beyoncé Sheds Tears During Final Performance of ‘Mrs. Carter’ Tour

On Thursday night, in Lisbon, Portugal, Beyoncé (PeekYou profile here), wrapped up her year long, Mrs. Carter Show World Tour; and grew a bit emotional during the show.

After asking for a spotlight, and as her band vamped behind her, Ms. Knowles addressed the crowd; “In the past year, we’ve been through so much together, the Super Bowl, shooting the videos, all of these shows.” She continued, “when I first started the tour, my baby was not even walking yet”; of course referring to Blue Ivy, her daughter with husband Jay-Z (PeekYou profile here).

“I just want you to know that I am so lucky, I’m giving y’all an ugly cry.” Those familiar with Ms. Knowles/Mrs. Carter already know, that’s not possible; and indeed she looked fabulous through her tears of unspeakable joy. You can see for yourself below.
