Ben Affleck says ‘it’s not a set thing’ he’ll direct his Batman standalone
Ben Affleck isn’t exactly taking a Batman-sized leap of faith behind his upcoming Dark Knight standalone.
The award-winning actor and director — who plays Batman in the DC Comics movies — is expected to direct an upcoming film centering solely on his character, but he says that could change if he doesn’t feel confident in the project.
“That’s the idea,” he told The Guardian of his intention to direct the movie. “But it’s not a set thing and there’s no script. If it doesn’t come together in a way I think is really great I’m not going to do it.”
