Trending in conversations, taking place both online and off, is the news that very likely future Hall of Fame pitcher, Roy Halladay (PeekYou profile here) has announced his retirement from baseball.

While he played with the Philadelphia Phillies since 2010, he played his first 12 years in the majors for the Toronto Blue Jays. Thanks to a special one-day contract, which you can read about at ESPN.com here, he retired today as a Blue Jay.
