Armed Forces Bowl 2016: Louisiana Tech vs. Navy Live Score and Highlights
The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (8-5) and Navy Midshipmen (9-4) will square off in the 2016 Armed Forces Bowl, and Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo is seeking to lead his team to 10 wins for the second year in a row. With a win, it would be the first time in school history that Navy has reached 10 or more wins in back-to-back years.
Both teams feature high-scoring offenses, but the yards will come in completely different fashions. While Navy ranks fourth nationally in rushing, the Bulldogs possess the nation’s third-ranked passing attack. Louisiana Tech’s senior quarterback Ryan Higgins has thrown for 4,208 yards and 37 touchdowns, and he has a pair of outstanding receivers in Trent Taylor (10 TD) and Carlos Henderson (17 TD).
Navy quarterback Will Worth led the team with 25 touchdowns, but he won’t play in this game after suffering an injury in the American Athletic Conference title game against Temple on Dec. 3….
