Angelina Jolie has surfaced.

The actress, who filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September, was photographed in public for the first time since news of their split went public. Jolie was spotted at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, looking solemn in a long black dress, black cardigan sweater and aviator sunglasses. Her left hand revealed that she removed her wedding band.

Jolie returned to the public eye on one other occasion, but it was in a recorded video for the International Criminal Court in support of a recent policy regarding children.
